The Grounds were established in the 1920’s on what was then the John Brown Dam and the Club House was built in 1956. The Club is steeped in history and tradition. Originally home to Grey High School Old Boys, the Club has for many years welcomed visitors and new members from the general public, particularly parents and families of current pupils who did not attend The Grey.
The Club is proud of its many sporting personalities and offers men, women and children the opportunity to play Squash, Cricket Hockey or Football on a social and competitive level. The Club boasts upmarket sporting facilities open to individual or family memberships or simply relax and enjoy a social membership affording you wonderful discounts at the bar, restaurant and various venues which are available for hire.
The Restaurant and Bar welcomes all The Grey Family and members of the general public. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with friends, conduct business meetings or book one of the function rooms for private or business events and conferencing facilities. We welcomed Africa Padel in April 23 at the opening of 2 world class Padel courts. Open 7 days a week. Walk-Ins welcome. Wonderful environment for children.
