SAMA-nominated singer, songwriter and worship leader Brenden Praise joins forces once again with the Free 2 Wrshp collective for The Gift Vol. II, a moving new EP that invites listeners into a deeper understanding of God’s heart through songs of worship, gratitude and unwavering faith. Building on the foundation laid by The Gift Vol. I, the new project is a heartfelt reflection on grace, purpose and the beauty of trusting God’s timing.

Where the first instalment celebrated God’s grace and mercy, The Gift Vol. II explores a more mature expression of faith. Through rich melodies, honest songwriting and moments of celebration and reflection, Brenden captures what it means to encounter God not only in seasons of breakthrough, but also in the waiting, the refining and the becoming.

Leading the project is the powerful focus track “Ufanelwe”, a stirring anthem of worship that exalts God as worthy of all honour and praise. Anchored by Brenden’s unmistakable vocal warmth and heartfelt delivery, the song is both a personal declaration and a communal invitation to worship. Free 2 Wrshp is a community of worshippers and musicians committed to creating authentic spaces for praise and encounter through music. Together with Brenden Praise, the collective has cultivated a sound rooted in honesty, excellence and spiritual intimacy, allowing The Gift series to resonate deeply with listeners seeking hope, encouragement and a genuine connection with God.

Since capturing the hearts of South Africans as the runner-up on Idols South Africa Season 9, Brenden Praise has established himself as one of the country’s most respected voices in gospel and inspirational music. Known for seamlessly blending contemporary gospel, soul and worship, his music continues to inspire audiences with its authenticity, vulnerability and hope.

With The Gift Vol. II, Brenden once again demonstrates that faith is not defined solely by mountaintop moments, but by the quiet confidence built through every season of life’s journey. The EP serves as both a soundtrack for personal devotion and a reminder that God’s goodness is present through every chapter of the story.

“The Gift Vol. II is about discovering the heart of God in every season,” says Brenden Praise. “Creating this project alongside the Free 2 Wrshp family has been a reminder that worship is something we experience together. My hope is that these songs encourage people to trust God more deeply and encounter Him in both the victories and the waiting.”

Through heartfelt songwriting, uplifting production and timeless message of hope, The Gift Vol. II is a beautiful continuation of Brenden Praise’s musical and spiritual journey, offering listeners a collection of songs that will resonate long after the final note.
