US ambassador Bozell calls for stronger SA–US cooperation | SA News

PRETORIA – US ambassador to South Africa Leo Brent Bozell III says cooperation between Pretoria and Washington can unlock growth, stability and expanded opportunities.

Bozell III arrived in South Africa earlier this month amid strained relations between South Africa and the United States.

On Monday, he presented his letters of credence to Department of International Relations and Cooperation deputy director-general Clayson Monyela.

In a video shared on X, Bozell III said his belief in the promise of American exceptionalism will guide his duties in South Africa.
