The Springboks snubbed Gqeberha in 2024, The Eastern Province Rugby Team is a shadow of it’s former glory and the Southern Kings a historic Wikipedia entry.

BUT, all is not lost as South Africa’s National Football team plied tyheir trade at the stadium on 10 October against Congo Brazzaville.

In celebration and thanks here are 120 facts about football in South Africa:
