That’s why Crocworld is excited to offer an affordable annual membership package, with even more benefits announced for 2025.

“There’s always something new to discover at Crocworld, with fascinating new residents joining our family regularly,” says Susan Badat, Crocworld Conservation Centre Manager. “We’ve made our annual memberships even more appealing with exclusive discounts, including 10% off entry for your guests, venue hire, and curio shop purchases, making 2025 the perfect year to sign up!”

Here are 7 compelling reasons to grab your Crocworld membership today:

1. Unlimited visits, every day of the week

2. Meet the stars of Crocworld

Get to know Crocworld’s most famous residents! From Henry the Nile Crocodile, the world’s longest-living Nile crocodile in captivity at 124 years old, to his massive pal Colgate, there’s always an awe-inspiring encounter waiting. Don’t forget to visit Elliot the Emu and the friendly barnyard crew or marvel at the majestic Sekhuru, the African Fish Eagle. With an annual membership, visitors can form unforgettable bonds with these incredible animals.

3. Hone those photography skills

The resident animals aren’t just great to look at, they’re incredibly photogenic as well! Crocworld is the perfect destination for wildlife photographers keen to capture that award-winning shot. The surrounding coastal forest also holds a wealth of photographic potential, with indigenous birds posing for the patient photographer. Alongside the forest, the Indian Ocean sets the scene for fantastic photoshoots, with passing whales and dolphins the perfect subjects from the Whale Watching Walkway.

4. Spot rare birds

The KZN South Coast is renowned for its incredible birdwatching and there’s no better place to spot some unique feathered friends than at Crocworld. Alongside the interesting resident birds they’re home to, there are more than 200 indigenous bird species flying throughout the coastal forest. With an annual membership, visitors can go birdwatching every day!

5. Grab a meal with a view

The scenic Fish Eagle Café at Crocworld is a great place to enjoy a meal and a refreshing drink while taking in the expansive ocean views. Renowned for its burgers, the café also runs great specials throughout the year, with the wraparound deck an inviting space to relax.

A good rule of thumb is as follows: If the numbers come from somebody wearing a tie (Wall Street economist or analyst, industry Public Relations department, captive think tank academic and so on), you ought to be very skeptical. By design messages from these people are intended to move markets, move merchandise and/or move public policy and are not a comment on the state of the physical universe. – Nassim Nicholas Taleb
