Hyundai Automotive South Africa has been awarded three Silver Awards at the 2025 South African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (SAVRALA) Manufacturer of the Year Awards, in the Rental, Leasing and Overall Value categories, in Johannesburg – 16 October 2025.
The SAVRALA bestowed these recognitions based on key performance areas such as sales and technical support, parts availability and excellent aftersales service. The association collates and measures the performance of different manufacturers based on direct feedback from 41 leading vehicle rental and leasing companies in South Africa. Collectively they manage over 400,000 vehicles, making their insights both comprehensive and industry-critical.
“This is a remarkable achievement, especially considering the highly competitive landscape we operate in. These awards are a reflection of the commitment, excellence and dedication by every single one of our valued dealer network,” said Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa.
“This dedicated team is on the frontlines ensuring that every rental and leasing partner receives the best level of service, support and product excellence that Hyundai is known for.”
South Africa’s leasing and rental space continues to present unique set of challenges all manufacturers. From navigating ongoing supply chain constraints and fluctuating vehicle availability to managing rising cost of ownership and increasingly demanding service-level expectations from fleet clients.
“Competition is intensifying with customers expecting more value at often shorter lead times For us to be able to meet these demands while maintaining our brand integrity, requires resilience and commitment and that is something we pride ourselves with,” concluded Anderson.
