ActionSA joins South Africans and global music lovers in mourning the passing of Albert Mazibuko, a legendary musician and founding member of Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. It is through pioneering isicathamiya and mbube vocal styles that the South African sound attracted global recognition, winning five Grammy Awards.

His unique presence and impact transcend music. His is a life dedicated to excellence through patriotic artistic expression. May his soul rest and transition in peace.
