Messe Frankfurt South Africa is pleased to announce that AERO South Africa, the leading trade show for the general aviation community, will take place from 10 – 12 June 2026 at Lanseria International Airport, Johannesburg.

Building on the strong foundation of the past five editions, the 2026 event will once again bring together the full spectrum of general aviation stakeholders, from aircraft owners and pilots to suppliers, service providers, and industry leaders.

AERO South Africa is firmly positioned as the aviation trade show for the general aviation community.

We are delighted to share that a number of leading companies have already confirmed their participation.

These include:

  • ABSA
  • Absolute Aviation
  • Aeronautical Aviation
  • Aircraft Finance Corporation
  • Alfonshaar SA
  • BAC Logistics
  • Blackhawk
  • BMW South Africa
  • Cabin Crew
  • Century Avionics
  • Cirrus South Africa
  • Devex Development
  • DJA Aviation

Their commitment so early on highlights the importance of AERO South Africa as a platform for business, networking, and growth in the industry.

Exhibitor bookings are now open, and we are currently offering Early Bird rates valid until 30 September 2025. Thereafter, standard rates will apply. “I encourage companies who wish to be part of the 2026 edition to take advantage of this opportunity and secure their space early.” Says Louise Olckers, Show Director of AERO South Africa.

Adding to this, Rampa Rammopo, CEO of Lanseria International Airport, expressed his excitement: “Hosting AERO South Africa is a privilege for our airport as we continue to position ourselves as Africa’s Smartest Airport. General Aviation has always been an integral part of our DNA, and this event allows us to showcase our commitment to innovation, connectivity, and building a stronger aviation ecosystem. We look forward to welcoming exhibitors, industry leaders, and aviation enthusiasts to Lanseria in 2026.”

As we prepare for AERO South Africa 2026 at Lanseria International Airport, we are confident that this edition will set new benchmarks for innovation, collaboration, and industry engagement.

Terry Volkwyn – Former-CEO of Primedia, founder of Lead SA: Considered as one of the most powerful and influential women in media but Terry Volkwyn never dreamed of a career in radio. She wanted to be a lawyer but didn\’t have the right matric subjects, so she went into dress-designing. After another career change, Volkwyn sold advertising space for the Rand Daily Mail when Radio 702 was launched. She instantly loved the rebelliousness of it and started running its sales team and selling up a storm. Eventually she would move from sales to programme manager and up the ladder until she reached the very top. In 2006, she was named Boss of the Year. In 2012, she won Company Women of the Decade in Media. In 2013, she was inducted into the MTN Radio Awards Hall of Fame.
