After decent year, two blockbuster JSE listings await in 2026 | SA News

The latter half of 2025 has seen two multi-billion-rand initial public offerings (IPOs) on the JSE. Optasia (previously Channel VAS) raised R6.5 billion in November, while Cell C’s debut on the market saw R2.7 billion raised.

The latter was far lower than its original R7.7 billion target. Still, the last major listing prior to these debuts was Boxer’s IPO on 28 November 2024, which was the largest since 2018.
