Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer 2026 Beneficiary Applications Open

Algoa FM is gearing up for the Eastern Cape and Garden Route’s biggest charity event – the 28th Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer, presented by ISUZU Motors South Africa.

We invite non-profit organisations supporting cancer patients and their families in Algoa Country to apply to be selected as a beneficiary of this year’s event, which will be held on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

Applicants must have a strong presence in Algoa Country, which stretches from the Garden Route to the Wild Coast, and inland through the Karoo.

Funds are allocated to the purchase of technical equipment. Operational costs are not covered.

The main event will take place in Nelson Mandela Bay, with parallel events in Buffalo City and George on the same day.

    PR doesn\’t always have the best rep when it comes to ethics. Some people, because of bad things that they\’ve done in the past, have even been called propagandists. But there\’s a big ethical difference between real PR and simple propaganda, and here it is: PR is always solidly rooted in fact. PR is part of the good fight, as the wise people quoted below have recognized.
