South Africa’s Next-Generation Digital Vehicle Marketplace to Launch Within the Next 60 Days

Johannesburg, South Africa — AutomotiveHub is pleased to announce that development of its innovative online vehicle marketplace has reached a major milestone, with the platform now entering its final testing phase ahead of its official launch within the next 60 days.

Following the overwhelming interest generated by the company’s initial announcement, AutomotiveHub has successfully completed the majority of the platform’s development and is now conducting comprehensive system testing to ensure a secure, reliable, and seamless experience for buyers and sellers from day one.

The testing phase includes extensive validation of vehicle listing functionality, seller registration, platform security, user experience, and integrated systems designed to provide South Africans with a trusted and transparent digital automotive marketplace.

Launch Promotion for Vehicle Sellers

To celebrate the upcoming launch, AutomotiveHub will introduce an exclusive Founding Seller Promotion designed to encourage both private vehicle owners and commercial dealerships to experience the platform at no cost.

The promotion will offer:

  • FREE vehicle listings for 30 days
  • Available to both private and commercial sellers
  • Limited to the first 2,000 vehicle listings on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vehicle sellers wishing to secure one of these limited promotional spaces can begin registering their interest immediately by sending an email to: sales@automotivehub.co.za

Reservations will open from the date of this media release.

Special Introductory Listing Rates

Following the initial 30-day free listing period, AutomotiveHub will continue to support sellers with an additional introductory pricing offer.

Private sellers and customers with single vehicle listings will qualify for a further 30-day discounted listing rate of R250 per vehicle per month.

Commercial dealerships and bulk listing customers will receive customised promotional pricing, which will be communicated directly based on their individual listing requirements.

Once the introductory promotional period concludes, AutomotiveHub’s standard listing fee will be: R350 per vehicle per month

A competitive sliding-scale pricing model for dealerships and bulk listing customers will be announced before the platform’s official launch.

Preparing Sellers for Launch

AutomotiveHub encourages interested sellers to prepare their vehicles in advance to ensure a smooth onboarding process once the platform goes live.

All communication regarding reservations, account activation, and onboarding will be conducted via email. Sellers who successfully reserve promotional listing spaces will receive further instructions when the platform is ready for public launch.
At that stage, sellers will be invited to create their seller profiles and upload their vehicle listings.

To assist with the verification and listing process, sellers are encouraged to prepare a minimum of five high-quality photographs for each vehicle, including:

  • Front view
  • Rear view
  • Left-hand side
  • Right-hand side
  • Interior view

Additional photographs showcasing important features or vehicle condition are also encouraged to improve buyer engagement.

Building a Trusted Digital Marketplace

AutomotiveHub remains committed to delivering a secure and transparent vehicle buying and selling experience through its verification-first approach, designed to improve consumer confidence and reduce the risks commonly associated with online vehicle transactions.

The platform has been developed to integrate vehicle discovery, seller engagement, finance application capabilities, and future value-added automotive services within a single digital ecosystem, providing a convenient and trusted marketplace for South African consumers.

Director for Marketing Commentary

AutomotiveHub Director for Marketing, Achim Nkosi Maseko, welcomed the latest development, saying: “Reaching the testing phase is a significant milestone for AutomotiveHub and brings us one step closer to introducing a new standard for online vehicle buying and selling in South Africa. We are excited to welcome our first community of sellers through this exclusive launch promotion, giving them an opportunity to showcase their vehicles at no cost while becoming part of a platform built on trust, transparency, innovation, and customer convenience. We look forward to officially launching AutomotiveHub within the next 60 days and beginning this exciting journey with South African motorists and the broader automotive industry.”

Looking Ahead

As AutomotiveHub prepares for its official launch, additional announcements will be made regarding strategic partnerships, integrated finance and insurance services, vehicle verification capabilities, and other innovative platform features that will further enhance the digital vehicle buying and selling experience.

Vehicle sellers are encouraged to reserve their promotional listing spaces as early as possible, as availability is limited to the first 2,000 listings.
