The Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus) expresses its profound horror at last night’s brutal farm attack on the Mahne family of Baltimore.

In the blink of an eye, what should have been a season of joy and gratitude for most South Africans turned into an unbearable nightmare for this farmer and his family.

Uncle At Mahne tragically lost his life, and his wife, auntie Petro, was rushed to Ellisras Hospital.

The exact sequence of events is still under investigation.

The Freedom Front Plus thanks Sakkie Louwrens of Bosveld Misdaad (BMO) and his team for their selfless service and dedication.

They repeatedly and willingly examine the most gruesome scenes to uncover the truth and gather clues that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.

The Freedom Front Plus strongly condemns farm attacks.

These crimes are not merely statistics, but a direct assault on the country’s food producers and the safety of rural communities.

The party will keep pressuring government until it declares farm attacks a priority crime and takes decisive action.

The Freedom Front Plus extends its deepest condolences to the Mahne family, and prays that the Father will comfort and carry them through this dark time.

Be careful of the man who stays calm and smiles in a crisis for he has already found someone to put the fault on.

Voetsek! – Go away! [foot-sak] Usually said with an angry tone when telling someone to go away or get lost. You don’t want to be saying this to a local or worse, if a local says this to you – you’ve really angered them!
