Blitzboks on their way to semi-final: South Africa sweep Pool A at Vancouver Sevens | SA News

The Springbok Sevens produced a flawless opening day at the Vancouver Sevens on Saturday, winning all three of their pool matches to book a semi-final clash with Australia as they continue their push for back-to-back HSBC SVNS Series titles.

Philip Snyman’s men looked sharp and composed at BC Place, combining clinical finishing with resolute defence to emerge unbeaten from Pool A and maintain momentum heading into the knockout rounds.

The Blitzboks opened their campaign with an assured 21-5 victory over Great Britain that set the tone for the day, displaying the fast-paced attacking rugby that has made them one of the most consistent teams on the circuit this season.
