Brussels (November 12th, 2025) — Bridgestone, a global leader in premium tyres and sustainable mobility solutions, has unveiled its latest ultra-high-performance tyre: the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology. Building on the multi-award-winning Potenza Sport, the new tyre offers enhanced sports performance, wet control, longevity and fuel/energy efficiency, alongside expanded size range.

The new Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO delivers exceptional control at high speeds, maintaining vehicle stability both in straight lines and through corners. The tyre also provides outstanding wet grip, achieving a best-in-class EU label A-grade. Compared to the multi-awarded Potenza Sport, it achieves a five per cent shorter braking distance on wet roads and a two per cent shorter braking distance in the dry.1

These performance improvements are matched by enhanced longevity, offering 15 per cent greater mileage than its predecessor1 – equivalent to around 6,000 additional kilometres.2 The tyre also improves fuel efficiency and extends the EV driving range thanks to up to a six per cent reduction in rolling resistance.3

“The new Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology is built for high-performance vehicles and drivers, whatever the powertrain,” said Stefano Sanchini, Vice President Consumer Replacement at Bridgestone EMEA. “Building on the success of the remarkable Potenza Sport – a tyre chosen as original equipment by many of the world’s most prestigious car brands, like Lamborghini, Maserati and Porsche – it continues the proud Potenza family legacy.”

The Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO’s premium performance and sustainability enhancements are enabled by the integration of ENLITEN Technology – a next-generation technology revolutionising how Bridgestone engineers tyres. Driven by a deep understanding of customer needs, ENLITEN delivers customised and uncompromised tyre performance while enhancing sustainability. The integration of ENLITEN Technology also ensures that the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO is fully EV-ready, meeting both the specific requirements of electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

In the case of the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO, the integration of ENLITEN has seen various advancements in compound technology and design.

The tyre features a high-stiffness compound for enhanced stability during cornering and high-speed manoeuvres. This, supported by a dedicated construction with hybrid crown reinforcement and a stiff carcass, alongside a sporty profile shape with an asymmetric wall angle, enables the Potenza Sport EVO to deliver exceptional control at high speeds.

The new bespoke compound with optimised inorganic fillers, combined with the pattern’s precisely engineered rib and void design, creates the ideal synergy for outstanding wet grip. The Potenza Sport EVO’s compound also uses an optimised polymer with improved polymer-filler interaction – improving abrasion resistance and longevity.

Developed and produced in Europe, the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology will be available in 40 more sizes than its predecessor. The EV-ready tyre will be available in 139 sizes across 17-23-inch range. This expanded range ensures compatibility with a wider array of high-performance vehicles, regardless of powertrain.

The tyre will launch in two waves starting in January 2026 with 92 sizes and the remaining sizes being released in 2027. The Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology will be available across multiple global markets.

To overcome our biological limitations as individuals, we have co-evolved collective systems and capacities – cultural, social, economic, political, scientific, media, educational, Public Relations, etc. But the flaw in all that is that we have designed them primarily for comfort, profit, power, control, and entertainment rather than for collective intelligence, sanity, and wisdom. – Tom Atlee
