Dear Editor
The DA wishes the Springboks success in the 2023 World Cup final in Paris, France tomorrow. Despite a challenging tournament and attempts to derail their focus, they have shown true South African spirit, overcame adversity and are on the cusp of making history. Your journey has already made us proud.
Coach Jacques Nienaber and Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus will be fielding the most experienced team ever to go up against New Zealand, and the hope of an entire nation rests upon them.
May your show of strength, unity, and resilience continue to inspire South Africans and the world.
South Africa unites behind the Boks and we will ensure they feel the roar of every cheer tomorrow night!
Bring it home boys! Go Bokke!
Regards
Tsepo Mhlongo MP
DA Shadow Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture

Sport Trivia: Who won the WBA junior lightweight title in 1986 and sucessfully defended it 12 times? Answer: Brian Mitchell. He started his boxing career in 1981, and the majority of his fights were abroad due to the political status in South Africa. He finished his career with 46 wins, one loss and two draws. His 12 successful defences of the junior-lightweight title are a record for that boxing division.
