Bumper 2024-2025 Cricket Season Ready to Light Up Dafabet St George’s Park Cricket Stadium

22 August 2024 by Guest

Cricket fans are in for a thrilling 2024-2025 season as Dafabet St George’s Park Cricket Stadium gears up to host a spectacular array of domestic and international matches.

The season kicks off on 29 September with the Dafabet Warriors launching their CSA T20 campaign against the Hollywoodbets Dolphins.

Fans can look forward to four action-packed home games in this format before the stadium switches gears to focus on its international fixtures.

One of the season’s highlights arrives on Sunday, 10 November, when the Proteas square off against India in the 2nd T20 International.

This much-anticipated clash follows their fierce encounter in the ICC T20 World Cup, with South Africa determined to assert their dominance against the reigning World Cup champions.

In December, the cricket action intensifies as the Proteas take on Sri Lanka in Test match from 5-9 December, a true showcase of skill, stamina, and strategy in the game’s longest format.

As the calendar flips to the new year, St Georges will transform once again, becoming the battleground for the SA20 tournament, which begins in early January.

The defending champions, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, will make their return to their St Georges Park home to compete in the third edition of this electrifying tournament.

Tickets for the highly anticipated international series against India and Sri Lanka go on sale on Monday, 26 August.

Fans are urged to book early to secure their seats and witness what promises to be an unforgettable cricket season at Dafabet St George’s Park Cricket Stadium.
