Bringing together influential professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring businesswomen for a day of networking, the Women’s Business Club looks forward to celebrating Women’s Month this August by hosting their groundbreaking #ElevateHER2023 Conference, aimed at supporting and inspiring women in business holistically.

Intending to provide women in business across the globe with the opportunity to connect, learn and grow as businesswomen, the club provides a dynamic platform that aims to build community in its truest form — further seeking to foster collaboration and, most importantly, leadership development through the exchange of essential ideas. Through their thought-provoking and inspiring workshops, events, workshops and networking opportunities, the Women’s Business Club’s goal – at the core of its efforts – is to inspire and equip women with the tools needed in the exchange of skills, knowledge, and connections to thrive unapologetically in the competitive world of business. It is without a doubt that while equipping the globe’s current and aspiring women in business, the Women’s Business Club always supports its messaging with efforts to promote gender equality and inclusivity in business.

With the club’s footprint in Europe, Africa, USA, and Australia, the Women’s Business Club continuously aims to support and empower women from all business backgrounds. From start-ups to SMEs and beyond, the Women’s Business Club is about seeing women in business flourish through their tailor-made events, products, and services that will meet their fellow entrepreneurs where they are on their business journey, further empowering them to succeed! It is about supporting their members on the challenging path they’ve chosen of leadership, seeking to create a future where women can boldly seize up space and thrive in business.

Taking plot at Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, OR Tambo on the 9th of August, business women can expect to also hear from and engage with the Club’s Gauteng director of the Women’s Business Club, Michelle Austin, who leads a career that can only be described as aspirational and exceptional. She is the Financial Director of the Keegor group of companies and most recently has been recognised at the Forty Under Forty Africa Awards 2023, joining her long list of accomplishments that helped build her reputation within the manufacturing industry amongst her note-worthy business-driven efforts.

The Women’s Business Club’s vision of continuously fostering community remains accurate. It is through their unwavering efforts of assisting business women to forge lasting personal and professional relationships, inspiring change by motivating members to find creative and innovative solutions, and reminding them that together we can bring about change to the critical issues women are currently facing that they continue to drive a positive shift in women in businesses globally. Making the Women’s Business Club #ElevateHER2023 Conference a much-anticipated event that will inspire and motivate all women in business on every level, impacting them both personally and professionally.

Media clips used to require actual clipping. To see if PR efforts paid off, a company hired women in Maine to read through every single newspaper. Every time they found mention of a client, they underlined it with red wax pencil and were paid around two cents. PR pros would paste these clips into a “clip book” and show it to each client.
