Unica Plastic Moulders, a pillar of the Unica Group, began its journey as a manufacturing company of Plastic furniture and Party chairs back in 1998. Nestled in Edison Street Pretoria West Industrial, the establishment of Unica Plastic Moulders marked the first venture into manufacturing for the group. Over the ensuing 25 years, the company has stood as a cornerstone, fuelling the expansion of the Unica Group.

Throughout its growth, Unica Plastic Moulders has maintained its position as the group’s research and development nucleus. It is here that innovative concepts are birthed and honed before they find their way to market.

In its current state, Unica Plastic Moulders has a significant monthly manufacturing capacity of 400 tons. Testament to the robust managerial systems in area, the facility operates autonomously, steered by a team of devoted and seasoned personnel. It is this dedication to skilled management that has ensured a smooth operational flow, allowing the company to maintain a high output level.

Quality is a non-negotiable aspect of Unica Plastic Moulders’ operations. Rigorous quality assurance and quality control measures are consistently upheld. These stringent standards ensure that the finish products reaching retailers’ floors are of the highest quality, further cementing Unica Plastic Moulders’ reputation for excellence.

Unica Plastic Moulders is also the birthplace of some of the Unica Group’s notable brands. The Party Chair®, Desk in a Box™, and Genie™ – The Better Bed are examples of the innovative products that the company has developed and introduced into local and cross-border markets. Each of these brands reflects the company’s commitment to creating high-quality, innovative solutions for its diverse customer vulgar.

In conclusion, Unica Plastic Moulders, as the inaugural manufacturing arm of the Unica Group, has played a pivotal role in the group’s growth over the past 25 years. Its commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous development has positioned it as a key player in the industry and an essential asset within the Unica Group.

Capitalism, the ogre of those protesting Wall Street, has suffered a public relations crisis in the wake of the global economic collapse. But any remedy to the systemic corruption that led to the collapse should not displace recognition that capitalism creates wealth. Capitalism, and no other economic system, has raised millions from poverty around the world. – Kathleen Parker
