3 October 2026 by Guest

Chelsea Flowers at Lifestyle Home Garden Johannesburg presents ‘Life after Fire’, the best on show and Gold award-winning botanical design by Leon Kluge, created for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. The display is inspired by the fynbos of the Cape and the fires which stimulate both life and regeneration in the area. This is a celebration of Fynbos, Flowers and Fire!

Join us at Lifestyle Home Garden from 24 October to 08 November 2026, where these flowers will bloom again, as Leon Kluge and his team recreate the display in South Africa, for South Africans.

All profits go to Grootbos Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Gansbaai in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom,…

Proteas: The national flower of South Africa, the protea, symbolizes the beauty
and diversity of the country’s flora.

Fun South African Fact: Lions, elephants and giraffes may not roam the city streets, but nature and animals are never too far away in South Africa. From vervet monkeys swinging through tree-lined streets in the suburbs and baboons frolicking around Cape Point to seals visiting the Hout Bay harbour in search of a fishy snack and an array of bird species taking to the sky at any given moment. Wildlife is all around!
