A race day dream could become reality for one fortunate participant at the Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K on Sunday, 23 August 2026, with a brand-new Chery vehicle valued at R279 900 waiting to be won.

As the official Vehicle Partner of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series since 2022, Chery South Africa has become synonymous with unforgettable moments, rewarding participants with a life-changing prize across the country. To date, eighteen lucky runners have driven away in new Chery vehicles, adding an extra layer of excitement to race day celebrations.

“The Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K is about more than crossing a finish line – it’s about celebrating effort, community, and memorable experiences,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Series Founder. “Tshwane offers runners a unique opportunity to experience the energy of the capital city on foot, and thanks to Chery South Africa, one participant will leave with a truly extraordinary reward. It’s the kind of surprise that captures the spirit of what makes this series so special.”

Meyer continues: “Chery South Africa has played an important role in enhancing the participant experience over the years, helping us create moments that runners genuinely look forward to. Partnerships like these allow us to add something unexpected and exciting to race day while reinforcing the positive impact that sport and active lifestyles can have in bringing communities together.”

Set against the backdrop of South Africa’s capital city, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K combines fast racing, vibrant supporter spirit, and an atmosphere that welcomes runners of all abilities. The addition of a sought-after Chery vehicle prize adds to the anticipation, ensuring that race day delivers excitement long after participants cross the finish line.

Every runner arrives with their own goal, and we are proud to contribute to an experience that celebrates those achievements in a memorable way.
