After witnessing the remarkable production of Vincent at Die Koelkamers in Paternoster just two weeks ago

CapeTalk host Martin Myers knew he had to invite acclaimed actor Daniel Anderson back to The Business of Entertainment.

Join the conversation on Thursday, 16 July at 9:00 PM on CapeTalk as Myers and Anderson explore the phenomenal success of Vincent, the creative journey behind the production, and much more from the world of theatre.

Martin Myers described the performance as one of the most compelling musical theatre experiences he has seen in years, while his wife, Razia, summed it up perfectly after the show:

“This work belongs on the West End or Broadway.”

Vincent, the three-time Naledi Award-winning multimedia musical, stars Daniel Anderson with Paul Ferreira on piano and is written and directed by Amanda Bothma.

The production delves into the extraordinary life of Vincent van Gogh, exploring his relentless pursuit of artistic fulfilment and his profound longing for love, acceptance, and human connection.

Through powerful performances and imaginative reinterpretations of musical theatre, pop, rock and jazz classics, Anderson delivers a deeply moving portrayal of one of history’s most celebrated artists.

Don’t miss this insightful conversation with one of South Africa’s finest theatre performers
