WOWeBikes: Straton Ebikes

Picture this:

We are strolling through the Kirkwood Wildsfees and, in the spot where there are normally a bunch of renewable energy stands, is a WOWeBike stand with it’s distinctive black and green signage.

Now we have a long history with renewables through Straton Solar and an abiding ‘love affair’ with all things electric since our late Father, George Straton, started Straton Electrical in 1966. Plus we are in possession of a BYD EV – the first one off the showroom floor of a good client – Kelston BYD in Gqeberha.

So we start chatting to Peter John Galloway, take a card and promise to make contact.

Long story short – we love an industry that talks to our strengths – okay racing around on a bicycle was my strength during High School only as I cycled 30 kilometers each day to school and back – occasionally stretching that ‘exercise’ to the Summerstrand Lifesaving Club – another 15 kilometers away from Grey High School.

So here we are then giving the sale, maintenance and support for WOWeBikes in the Eastern Cape after a thorough sniff around of the market and suppliers in South Africa.
