The City of Cape Town wants to inform residents that WhatsApp will be unavailable for fault reporting and service requests from Tuesday, 10 June 2025, until further notice. The public is encouraged to use all of the other available channels.
The following channels are available for all inquiries and complaints:

Citizens must log a request via the City’s e-Services portal at www.capetown.gov.za/servicerequests, or to register a service fault on the City App if they are able to do so. Residents are encouraged to make use of the email and sms channels during this time as these channels will now be boosted with additional resources.
