Eastern Cape School Excels at Taekwon-Do South African Championship 2023

A group of 8 students from the Eastern Cape, Libre Taekwon-Do school (Dojang), participated in the annual Open South African Championships in Johannesburg on the 24th of June 2023 organized by the International Taekwon-Do Federation South Africa (ITFSA).

All provinces from South Africa were represented and participants also from Mozambique, in total 17 Dojangs participated in this event.

Students from the Eastern Cape received a number of medals from the individual forms/patterns and sparring divisions. The team’s rank levels ranged from white belt yellow stripe all the way to 4th Dan black belt. The team in total brought back home 10 medals, 7 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze.
