Electricity disconnection warning in South Africa’s biggest city | SA News


The City of Johannesburg has launched Project Lokisa to crack down on the metro’s biggest defaulters as it takes an aggressive stance on debt recovery.

Through the project, the City of Johannesburg will focus on disconnecting defaulting consumers, including large electricity and water consumers, and residential properties valued at over R5 million.
