England women shift training camp to South Africa | SA News

England’s women’s cricket side will now hold their warm-weather training camp in South Africa after their planned trip to the Middle East was cancelled due to regional conflict.

The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed that preparations originally scheduled for Abu Dhabi had to be abandoned following safety concerns and travel disruption after the United States and Israel carried out air strikes on Iran last weekend, as reported by the Times and Star.

With the political situation escalating, organisers quickly arranged an alternative base in Pretoria to ensure the team could continue their preparations.

England are eager to keep players active with less than 100 days remaining…
