Eskom is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr Khulu Phasiwe, a respected communications professional who served the organisation with dedication and distinction as its National Spokesperson.

Mr Phasiwe was a trusted voice of Eskom during some of the organisation’s most challenging periods. Having served as a Senior Communication Advisor and later as Eskom’s National Spokesperson, he played a pivotal role in communicating complex operational matters to the public and stakeholders with professionalism, commitment and integrity.

Khulu’s contribution to Eskom during a demanding period in the organisation’s history will long be remembered. He leaves behind a legacy of dedicated service and a profound commitment to effective communication.

Eskom extends its heartfelt condolences to the Phasiwe family, friends and the many colleagues who had the privilege of working with him. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
