Expanding PEUGEOT, Citroën, and Opel Offerings in the Western Cape

4 November 2024 by Guest

Stellantis continues its strategic expansion in South Africa, extending the availability of its PEUGEOT, Citroën, and Opel brands through Rola Motor City in Somerset West, Western Cape. This new addition strengthens the brand’s foothold in the region, bringing these iconic brands closer to customers in the area while maintaining a focus on providing a seamless and personalized experience.

The Rola Motor Group, a family-run enterprise with deep roots in the automotive industry since 1963, has a rich history with Stellantis brands. Having represented Citroën and PEUGEOT in the 1970s, the dealership further expanded its offerings to include Jeep® in 2003 and, more recently, FIAT and Alfa Romeo in 2019. Now, with the integration of PEUGEOT, Citroën, and Opel, Rola is proud to showcase the full range of Stellantis brands at its Somerset West location.

This expansion not only boosts Stellantis’ market presence and position in the Western Cape as one of the largest importers in the South African motor industry but also demonstrates the group’s ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier service and accessibility. The strengthened partnership between Stellantis and Rola highlights their mutual dedication to customer satisfaction and convenience.

“We’re delighted to deepen our collaboration with the Rola Motor Group, which has long been a trusted name in the South African automotive landscape,” said Mike Whitfield, Managing Director of Stellantis South Africa. “This new venture allows us to make the PEUGEOT, Citroën, and Opel brands more accessible to our Western Cape customers, ensuring that they benefit from the same high standards of service and care.”

The Rola Motor Group is firmly aligned with Stellantis’ commitment to customer service excellence, highlighted by the Stellantis Customer Care Pledge. This includes a 5-year/100,000km warranty, a mobility guarantee for vehicles under warranty that require more than 48 hours at the dealership or after 30 days at an approved autobody repairer, and optional security detail for roadside assistance – all designed to deliver peace of mind to every owner.

Rola Motor City at 1 Pacific Close, Somerset Crossing in Somerset West and offers comfortable waiting areas with complimentary WiFi and refreshments.
