Fruitful Gains: South Africa’s Agricultural Growth Defies Headwinds Despite Trade And Tariff Risks | SA News

The South African government news agency, SAnews.gov.za, cites the minister as saying: “The figures speak for themselves. In the first quarter of 2025, South African agricultural exports to the United States were $118 million, up by 19% year-on-year.

“This growth is not merely a statistical anomaly, but a reflection of a bountiful harvest; a surge in high-quality produce, and the efficient operation of our ports.”

Education Disparities: While access to education has improved, disparities remain,
particularly in rural areas and among marginalized communities.
