Moravia Yachting welcomed Giuseppe Carosso to its growing sales team. Giuseppe joined Moravia Yachting at the beginning of June and will work closely with the Monaco office to help develop our Italy business success.
As a keen sailor, Giuseppe has participated in various regattas including the Copa del Rey in Palma de Mallorca, the Rolex Giraglia Trophy in St Tropez, Les Voiles d’Antibes, the Primo Cup in Monaco, the IMS World Championship in Porto Cervo, and sailed in numerous other events with his own boat.
Giuseppe graduated in economics and registered with the Order of Chartered Accountants and Auditors. Joining a notable financial advisors, Giuseppe managed large multinationals and was responsible for the naval customers.
In 2005 he founded his own brokerage company for sailing and motor yachts, and represented many prestigious shipyards in the production boat building sector. Throughout this period, Giuseppe worked in close collaboration with the Hill Robinson Group on a number of projects, and joining the team at Moravia Yachting was a natural progression.
In his role at Moravia Yachting, Giuseppe will develop important brokerage, new construction and charter activities. Giuseppe’s experience in the marine industry, along with his professionalism and dedication to client satisfaction, is a perfect fit within the wider, international team.

Giuseppe was born in Varazze, a small Ligurian town located on the sea where, since he was a boy, he has cultivated a passion for sailing, boating and the ocean in general.

He also launched a new private equity firm, African Rainbow Capital, which is focused on investing in Africa. In 2017, he was ranked as South Africa\’s fifth richest person, with a fortune exceeding R1.3 billion.
