Glendale pupils win national award, to represent South Africa in Ghana | SA News

Glendale Secondary School pupils are set to represent South Africa in Ghana after achieving national recognition for their innovative business.

The team, Eco-Crafts, won the Social Impact Award at the National Company of the Year competition in Johannesburg, following their victory in the Western Cape Company of the Year contest.

Two of the pupils, Jordan-Leigh Le Grange and Sinaed Wolmarans, were selected from a group of 15 girls across South Africa to attend the Delta Women’s Leadership Programme in Ghana from Sunday, March 1, to Sunday, March 8.

After winning last year’s competition, the pupils will this year represent both their school and South Africa on the international stage…

Rand: The currency of South Africa is the South African Rand (ZAR).
