Gold X Two

22 July 2026 by Guest

For the second consecutive year, Jetour South Africa has achieved Gold Status in the National Automobile Dealers’ Association’s (NADA) Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI). Powered by WesBank, the annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) Survey is one of South Africa’s leading measures of manufacturer support and dealer satisfaction. Announced this week, the awards recognise vehicle manufacturers that excel in supporting, empowering and building strong partnerships with their dealer networks.

Celebrating its 30th year, the Dealer Satisfaction Index has grown from only seven participating manufacturers to 36, reflecting its expansion into one of the industry’s most trusted indicators of dealer satisfaction. Independently researched by South African data, analytics, and market intelligence company, Lightstone, this survey provides manufacturers and dealers with an objective measure of their business relationships while supporting continuous improvement across the sector.

For a brand that launched in South Africa less than two years ago, achieving Gold Status for a second consecutive year reaffirms Jetour’s commitment to building strong, collaborative partnerships with its dealer network. From the outset, supporting and empowering its dealers has been a key priority, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service and value to customers across the country.

“We are very proud of how far Jetour has come within such a short space of time. These awards are a valuable endorsement and reflects the strong partnerships we’ve built with our dealer network. From day one, we’ve believed that our dealers are central to our success, which is why we’ve continued to invest in collaboration, training, after-sales support and the tools they need to deliver an exceptional ownership experience for our customers,” says Nic Campbell, Vice President of Jetour South Africa. “Achieving Gold Status for a second consecutive year is a testament to that shared commitment and the dedication of our dealer partners across South Africa”.

The recognition comes amid a period of exceptional growth for Jetour South Africa. Since launching locally in September 2024, the brand has rapidly established itself as one of the country’s fastest-growing automotive brands. Jetour entered the South African market with the five-seater Dashing and seven-seater X70 Plus SUVs, expanding its line-up a year later with the adventure-focused T-Series, followed by the introduction of the T-Series i-DM plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models in April this year.

Within just 10 months of launching, Jetour had broken into South Africa’s top 15 passenger vehicle brands, before climbing to secure a place among the country’s top eight automotive manufacturers. June this year marked Jetour’s biggest month yet, with 2 054 vehicles sold, accounting for approximately 5.3% of all new passenger vehicle sales. May also saw the Jetour T2 make history as the first Chinese vehicle to be named South African Car of the Year. Supporting the brand’s growth has been the expansion of Jetour’s dealer network from 40 to more than 55 dealerships nationwide. Most recently, the brand this month launched its newest models – the refreshed Dashing and X70 Plus models, both with bolder styling, upgraded comfort and technology, and enhanced safety features.

The 2026 NADA DSI survey saw the highest participation recorded to date with 1 610 dealer responses, which included 1 429 Passenger and Light Commercial and 181 Commercial vehicle responses. Manufacturers were assessed across three key indices: Dealer Friendly (20%), Investor Friendly (40%) and Customer Friendly (40%).
