Interview: Shukri Conrad – Proteas Coach On SA’s ‘Massive’ Win Against India

Shukri Conrad (born 2 April 1967) is the South African cricket coach and a former player who was appointed Test coach of the South Africa national cricket team in 2023.

Conrad played first-class cricket for Western Province teams both before and after the conclude of racial segregation. He was later a long-serving coach of Cape Cobras and also coached Gauteng and Highveld Lions. He was briefly coach of the Uganda national cricket team from 2010 to 2011 before joining the Cricket South Africa National Academy as head coach in 2014.

South Africa coach Shukri Conrad revealed his frustration on Thursday over his players being under-rated following an innings-and-32-run win over number one ranked India in the first Test in Centurion.
