Pretoria, South Africa – 13 May 2024: Jaguar TCS Racing secured its second podium of the weekend and leaves Berlin extending the lead in the Teams’ World Championship.
Nick Cassidy achieved his most successful weekend in Formula E with Jaguar TCS Racing, taking the win on Saturday, a second-place finish on Sunday and two Fastest Laps. The result marks his seventh podium of the season and the fourth in a row to continue leading the Drivers’ World Championship. He has also achieved a hat-trick of Fastest Laps – securing the additional point in the last three rounds of the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Mitch Evans made it through to the semi-finals of the Duels and lined up in P4 on the grid. The 29-year-old had another strong race – managing his energy strategy in the Jaguar I-TYPE 6 while fighting in the lead pack around the Tempelhof circuit. Mitch made several decisive overtakes and battled his way through the 41-lap race without the incidents that affected many around him. The safety car in lap 25 changed the dynamic of the race and made the latter half challenging for those in contention. Despite continuing to fight for the podium right up until the final three laps, Mitch finally finished the Berlin E-Prix in sixth – scoring more valuable points for the team.
Nick Cassidy lined up on the front row of the grid after making it through to the finals of the Qualifying Duels. The Kiwi took the lead of the Berlin E-Prix off the start line and remained there until he went into his first ATTACK MODE activation in lap three. Nick and the team continued to make good use of the Jaguar I-TYPE 6 to put the Kiwi into contention for the podium. On the penultimate lap of the race, Nick made an impressive move on the Nissan of Oliver Rowland to finish in second-place.
Jaguar TCS Racing leads the Teams’ World Championship with 237 points, with a gap of 54 points. Nick Cassidy extends his lead in the Drivers’ World Championship, with Mitch Evans remaining in fifth.

We were looking good at the start, and we were strong on energy, but unfortunately, a few varying factors meant we were snookered with our second ATTACK MODE and it ruined my chances of a podium.
