Breast cancer affects 1 in 9 South African women, and in response, Kwena Square is teaming up with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) to host an impactful event focused on raising cancer awareness. This event will support CANSA’s work in cancer research, education, and patient care, which assists over 500,000 patients and their families annually.
As part of Kwena Square’s commitment to uplifting the community, Virgin Active Little Falls will sponsor a community workout, set to take place at 8 AM at Kwena Square Shopping Centre. This is an opportunity for participants to actively contribute to the fight against cancer while fostering community spirit.
The event will also feature a CANSA Shavathon, where attendees can shave or spray their hair in solidarity with cancer survivors and those battling the disease. All donations collected will directly benefit CANSA’s programs for patients and caregivers.
