LEGO Giveaway

26 June 2025 by Guest

With the winter school holidays just around the corner, Tiger Wheel & Tyre is inviting families across South Africa and Botswana to hit the road safely, and in style, with the launch of its Ready. Set. GO winter campaign.

Running from 23 June to 9 August 2025, the campaign rewards you with a limited-edition LEGO® Speed Champions kit when you purchase four 15” or larger premium tyres. So, you’ll walk away with more than just peace of mind – you’ll also leave with a limited-edition collectible that brings a spark of fun to an everyday safety essential.

“Winter holidays are all about family adventures, spontaneous getaways and road trips to remember,” says Farishta Singh, Group Marketing Executive at TiAuto Investments. “But safe travel starts with reliable tyres. With this campaign, we’re helping customers tick off a key safety check while giving them something fun to take home too, because whether you’re seven or seventy, everyone loves LEGO®.”

The campaign’s rallying cry – Ready. Set. GO – says it all. It’s about the joy of the open road, the excitement of school holiday adventures, and the fun of collecting something special along the way. And as always, it’s a reminder that wherever you’re headed, Tiger Wheel & Tyre is right there with you.

You’ll be able to collect a variety of LEGO® Speed Champions sets, while stocks last, by purchasing four qualifying tyres from premium brands that include BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, General Tire, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin, Pirelli and Yokohama. The offer is available in-store and online, with full terms and conditions posted at Tiger Wheel & Tyre.

Whether you’re headed to the mountains, the bush, or just the nearest petrol station for hot chocolate and padkos, winter roads demand more from your vehicle and from your tyres. Cold weather can reduce tyre pressure and grip, leading to longer stopping distances and reduced stability, especially in wet or icy conditions. That’s why fitting high-quality tyres and checking your vehicle’s alignment, tread depth and inflation levels before a long drive is essential.

Tiger Wheel & Tyre encourages all motorists to use the winter break as an opportunity to stay safe and travel smart. In addition to offering world-class tyre brands, stores also provide complimentary tyre and battery checks, ensuring you’re road-ready before the journey begins.

Top winter driving tips from the experts:

  • Check your tyres: Make sure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure and have sufficient tread. While 1.6mm is the minimum legal depth, more is better.
  • Don’t skip a battery check: Cold weather can be tough on car batteries. If your battery is older than three years, it’s worth having it tested.
  • Keep an emergency kit: Include a torch, jumper cables, a reflective triangle, a phone charger, drinking water and warm blankets, especially if you’re travelling with children.
  • Drive defensively: Roads may be slippery and visibility poor in winter. Slow down, keep your distance, and avoid sudden braking or acceleration.

At Tiger Wheel & Tyre, you’ll find expert advice, award-winning service, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing your vehicle is in good hands, so you can focus on the fun.

So, before you pack the car and programme the GPS, pop into your nearest Tiger Wheel & Tyre and take advantage of the Ready. Set. GO campaign. Because safety should always come first, but a little added fun never hurts. Hurry though, limited-edition LEGO® Speed Champions kits are only available until 9 August 2025 or while stocks last.
