Media Statement: Committee Concerned by Public Submissions That Border On Homophobia in Upington Hearings | SA News

Parliament, Saturday, 9 August 2025 – The Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs concluded the Northern Cape segment of public hearings on the Marriage Bill. However, it expressed concerns about some submissions that appeared to contain elements of hate speech and bigotry against certain sections of society.
