In South Africa, the opportunities to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives often feels out of reach. MILLI Crowdfunding (PTY) LTD is changing this and rewriting the story of giving back. Founded with the singular mission of making the world a better place, one tiny step, one community at a time, MILLI has established itself as the country’s leading donation-based crowdfunding platform with curated charity partners in a gamified setting.

It is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) designed to connect individuals, businesses, and high-net-worth donors with high-impact social initiatives that change lives.

Co-founded by Dario Eugenio and Prof. Dr. Peter Konhäusner, the company was born out of an understanding of South Africa’s unique challenges and opportunities. With transparency, security, and accountability at its core, MILLI offers a simple yet powerful platform for giving. By curating a range of impactful community projects and non-profit causes, MILLI empowers donors to contribute in ways that are meaningful, accessible, and transformative.

Through its user-friendly mobile first interface, they ensure that donations can be effortlessly made. At the same time, the donors themselves can track the progress of their contributions and witness the real-world impact their kindness creates.

A champion of sustainable social change, co-founder and CEO Eugenio leads MILLI with a unique blend of expertise in psychology, digital transformation, and innovative leadership. After graduating with distinction in Psychology and earning an MSc in Leadership for Digital Transformation as Valedictorian, Dario’s academic journey laid the foundation for his commitment to creating platforms that inspire and empower.

With more than 25 years of experience in digital entrepreneurship and corporate leadership, co-founder and chief strategic officer Konhäusner is a driving force behind MILLI’s long-term vision. A professor at Gisma University of Applied Sciences and active Rotarian at RC Berlin Platz der Republik, Peter has successfully built and managed a leading European media publishing house for more than 15 years, along with pioneering ventures in digital entertainment and applied IT.

“MILLI is a movement for meaningful change. By providing donors with real-time updates, visuals, and detailed reports on how their contributions are being used, MILLI focuses on impact transparency which will transform into authentic trust,” he says.
MILLI collaborates with vetted NPOs, community leaders, and strategic partners to build trusted partnerships that amplify the impact of donations to ensure that every contribution drives meaningful change.

“Think of us as a space where technology, compassion, and community converge to create a brighter future for South Africa. From rural villages to bustling cities, we strive to bridge societal gaps and uplift lives through the collective power of kindness,” says Eugenio.

“We have created a community of digital change-makers and donation warriors. By contributing to MILLI, you become part of a movement that’s reshaping the future of giving back in South Africa. Together, we can create lasting change, one kind action at a time,” says Konhäusner.
