Mnqasela Campaigning Ahead Of Party Launch

8 July 2023 by Alan

The former Speaker of the Provincial Parliament in the Western Cape, Masizole Mnqasela, in conjunction with SamaritansFeetSA and Youth4Life, will be visiting Mitchells Plain to donate gumboots to underprivileged children ahead of the launch of his new political party. He is a patron of SamaritansFeetSA and has donated thousands of shoes throughout the Western Cape to the underprivileged communities through donor funding.

These visits will take place between 10 July and 14 July. According to Masizole, 32 institutions will be visited during this 5-day roadshow in the area and 901 beneficiaries will benefit from the programme.

While I have spent most of my adult life in politics, I have spent even more time doing charitable work. Many are of the opinion that one should either be a politician or be into charitable work. I say the two should not be mutually exclusive. It is these values and beliefs that have allowed me over, the last 21 years, to be so successful at both. Also, caring for people is in my nature. I cannot see how you can become a politician and not care for people.

Therefore, one of the core values of the new political party that we will be launching on the 15th of July 2023, will be about caring for people. We will become the party that people deserve. Most importantly, the platform that I have been given to lead this new political party will allow me to continue to do what I love which is to care for those who need it most.

I must tell you that I was very excited when I was approached by various community activists and Leaders to lead this movement. They told me that they are not happy with the direction our country is headed and they are frustrated because there is no viable alternative in our country. They want change and they can no longer tolerate the status quo.

I am extremely excited about this new and refreshed mandate I have received. I am eager to continue serving the people of this country and cannot wait for the launch of the movement on the 15th of this month.

He says Mitchells Plain is also one of the crucial constituencies the party will focus on during the upcoming national and provincial elections.

Mitchells Plain is also one of the crucial constituencies the party will focus on during the upcoming national and provincial elections. I have a very good relationship with this community, and I enjoy doing these caring programmes in this community. I love this community so much and have asked our soon to be announced leaders and staff to make arrangements to launch our new political party in this community on the 15th of this month.

I invite all to walk this journey with us as we form a new political alternative in our country that will change the lives of all South Africans.
