Mother charged with the murder of her son Jayden-Leek Meek – SABC News – Breaking news, special reports, world, business, sport coverage of all South African current events. Africa’s news leader. | SA News

The mother of 11-year-old Jayden-Leek Meek has been charged with his murder. Tiffany Nicole Meek was arrested on Friday.

The case has been postponed to Friday, following her first appearance at the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court in western Johannesburg.

The boy was reported missing by his mother on Tuesday, May 12th, and he was found the next morning, half-naked and unconscious on the staircase of the complex in which he lived. He was declared dead shortly after arriving at Discovery Hospital.
