Noble Roots Wine Festival

26 March 2025 by Guest

Last weekend saw some of Gauteng’s Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus owners join Jetour South Africa at the Old Oak restaurant in Linksfield, Johannesburg. The occasion was the second edition of the Noble Roots Wine Festival at Royal Johannesburg, which celebrated South African wines in a picturesque setting.

Owners and their partners enjoyed a delicious lunch and shared their experiences with these new SUVs, which were launched into the country in September last year. Present at the event were some of the very first owners, some who had pre-ordered their vehicles before they had even launched in the country.

Vice President of Jetour South Africa, Nic Campbell, says that the brand hopes to host more of these events as a way of thanking their customers and welcoming them to the Jetour family.

“We love spending time with our customers, sharing their experiences and listening to what they love about our cars and the interactions they have had with us in the past. This is a big part of Jetour’s culture, and the Travel+ brand, and we hope to do a lot of these events in the future,” says Shaun Steynberg, Head of Marketing at Jetour South Africa.

Jetour’s Travel+ strategy offers a distinctive way of incorporating tourism and travel experiences into the brand. Both the Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus are designed with the needs of travellers in mind, featuring spacious interiors, flexible storage options, and innovative tech solutions that enhance convenience and support exploration on the road.

“My favourite feature of the car is sports mode,” says Byron Lamont, one of the very first Jetour customers in South Africa. “We love it – it has a little bit of voom if you need to get yourself out of traffic, you put your foot down and go!”

“We chose the Jetour because we are very family-oriented,” says customer Lance Steneveld, explaining why he and his wife chose the 7-seater X70 Plus.

The Jetour Dashing impresses with its sharp, athletic lines and a sloping coupe profile, blending style and functionality. The 5-seater Jetour Dashing is priced at R439,900, with the Deluxe model available for R469,900.

The 7-seater Jetour X70 PLUS features a striking grille complemented by sleek, elongated LED headlights, built for convenience and sophistication and ideal for both families and adventurers. The Jetour X70 Plus Momentum is priced at R454,900, while the Deluxe model is available for R484,900.

These customer days have become regular events on the Jetour calendar, with owners able to connect, and the brand itself gaining valuable insights into their customers’ experiences.

Jetour will continue to engage with existing and new customers with other events planned countrywide this year. Creating a platform for direct engagement, feedback, and brand loyalty are elements which the brand believes are essential to sustain growth, customer satisfaction and long-term success in South Africa.
