Omono, a next-generation asset tokenization platform, and FasterCapital today announced a strategic partnership through the EquityPilot program to accelerate OMONO’s commercial rollout from Accra, Ghana. The collaboration combines OMONO’s blockchain tokenization technology with FasterCapital’s global investment, mentorship and go-to-market resources to capture growing demand for digitized assets across Africa and beyond.

Market opportunity & problem statement

Global interest in asset tokenization is surging as investors seek liquidity, fractional ownership and transparent markets. However, much of Africa remains underserved: high-friction legal processes, limited access to institutional-grade custody, and fragmented secondary markets hinder participation. OMONO targets a white space where tokenization can unlock capital from previously illiquid assets real estate, commodities, creative IP and SMEs addressing a multi-billion-dollar opportunity as regulators, banks and enterprises explore digital securities.

Startup solution & differentiation

OMONO provides a web-based, blockchain-powered ecosystem that enables individuals and organizations to tokenize tangible and digital assets, list offerings, and trade on a peer-to-peer marketplace. Key features include issuer and investor dashboards, KYC/AML-native workflows, smart-contract-based share management, and dividend distribution to linked wallets. OMONO differentiates with Africa-tailored subsidiaries (ama entertainment, Kejetia e?commerce, OpenSourceAfrica developer hub), on-the-ground operational setup in Accra, and an initial tokenomics model aligned to long-term growth. Early traction includes strategic advisor endorsements and localized market partnerships that validate product-market fit.

FasterCapital partnership value

Through the EquityPilot program, FasterCapital will provide OMONO with seed capital, technical mentorship, compliance and tokenomics advisory, investor introductions, and support for a regulated market-entry strategy. FasterCapital’s selective screening and global acceleration model validate OMONO’s team and product-market potential. Expected outcomes include accelerated product completion, regulated pilot deployments, and a targeted capital raise to support expansion across West and East Africa over the next 12–18 months.

Executive quotes

“Hesham Zreik, Founder & CEO of FasterCapital, said: “OMONO addresses a critical gap in African capital markets: transparent, compliant and accessible tokenized assets. We back teams with clear product differentiation and execution capability OMONO fits that profile and will benefit from our global mentor network and capital access.”

Asamoah Enoch Agyapong, Founder of OMONO, added: “Our mission is to redefine ownership across Africa by democratizing access to real assets. Partnering with FasterCapital speeds our roadmap, strengthens regulatory readiness, and connects us with partners and investors who share our vision.”**

Growth trajectory & near-term plans

OMONO will complete platform development and system audits, commence regulated pilot tokenizations, and launch its marketplace in H1 2026. With FasterCapital support, OMONO plans a targeted fundraising round following pilot validation, expansion of issuer verticals (real estate, agriculture, commodities) and scaling of the Kejetia and ama subsidiaries to drive user acquisition and liquidity.

People who worked with me or knew me still called me the \’world\’s fastest human\’ because I almost never stopped. I\’d found that I could get more done with no regular job or regular hours at all, but by being on my own, flying to speak here, help with a Public Relations campaign for some client there, tape my regular jazz radio show one morning at 5:00 a.m. before leaving on a plane for another city or another continent three hours later to preside over a major sporting event. – Jesse Owens

Movie Magic: What do Sandra Bullock, Ben Affleck, and Robert De Niro have in common? They’ve all portrayed PR practitioners on the big screen! If you haven’t seen PR take a starring role in Our Brand is Crisis (Bullock), Jersey Girl (Affleck), or Wag the Dog (De Niro), add these classics to your Netflix list ASAP. Whether or not you take away any practical lessons, it’s fascinating to watch a Hollywood portrayal of our profession.
