This festive season, give the gift of a proudly Boland summer outing, where cricket, culture, Winelands charm and full-day entertainment come together. Paarl is gearing up for its biggest holiday celebration as Boland Park transforms into a vibrant festival playground for a series of blockbuster fixtures from 27 December until  19 January 2026.

This is more than cricket. It’s a full-scale lifestyle experience built for families, superfans, Winelands locals and holiday visitors ready to soak up everything that makes Paarl special.

Here’s everything turning Boland Park into the most exciting entertainment hub in the Winelands this summer:

  • Local Performers – Expect bursts of local entertainers bringing the sound and spirit of the city to the concourse, delivering colour, rhythm and big Paarl energy.
  • Fun-filled activities for kids – Gates open 3 hours before the start of each match. All young fans are invited onto the field for the first hour after gates open. Kids are encouraged to bring a bat and soft ball, giving them a unique chance to play, explore and be part of the action before the match begins (weather dependent). In addition to cricket, fun activities for the kids include stilt walkers, balloon artists, and face painters.
  • Festive Giveaways & Surprise Activations – From Christmas cheer and New Year’s Eve excitement to summer surprises, fans can expect merchedise drops, festive pop-ups and memory-making moments throughout the stadium.
  • Massive Prizes Up for Grabs –
    • The chance to win big for a clean one-handed catch in Betway’s Catch R2 Million competition. Suzuki will also be giving away a brand new Suzuki Swift GL+.
    • Absa cardholders will enjoy ticketing discounts as well as a chance to win up to R200 000 at every live Betway SA20 match!
    • Switch will be giving away R5K at each match, and Castle Lite is back with their spin-and-win wheel.

I think that President [Dwight] Eisenhower was… did the most marvelous job in the war, not really a military job: a Public Relations job, and it was essential that there should be a Public Relations job done in the post that he had. – Malcolm Muggeridge

But the thought leaders on talk radio and Fox do more than shape opinion. Backed by their own wing of the book-publishing industry and supported by think tanks that increasingly function as public-relations agencies, conservatives have built a whole alternative knowledge system, with its own facts, its own history, its own laws of economics. – David Frum
