OPINION: The Springboks’ second-half performance proved too strong as they recorded a statement 32-17 win over France in Paris on Saturday night.

Talk of revenge dominated much of the build-up to the match, but nothing was quite as special and significant as captain Siya Kolisi becoming the ninth Springbok centurion when he led his team out.

For much of the match, it looked as though France were going to spoil the party. However, an electric second half, which included three tries, saw South Africa produce a stunning comeback.
