Ponte City Pathfinder Hub

9 May 2025 by Guest

Johannesburg, South Africa – The 2Roads Foundation, in partnership with Dlala Nje, yesterday officially launched the Pathfinder Hub, a new computer room at Ponte City Apartments designed to empower local youth and community members through technology and education.

The event marked a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the 2Roads Foundation and Dlala Nje, an organisation renowned for its innovative community programmes in one of Johannesburg’s most iconic buildings. The Pathfinder Hub, equipped with newly donated computers and learning resources, will serve as a vital platform for digital access, skills development, and social upliftment.

Kingsley Duba, Executive Chairman of the 2Roads Group and founder of the 2Roads Foundation, expressed his pride in the initiative:

“The launch of the Pathfinder Hub is a testament to our commitment to taking the road less travelled. We believe in creating opportunities where they are needed most, and this computer room is more than just a facility-it’s a gateway to knowledge, empowerment, and a brighter future for the community. I urge the 2Roads team to continue embracing our ethos and to keep supporting Dlala Nje beyond this milestone.”

Grant, CEO of Dlala Nje, shared his gratitude for the partnership:

“We are deeply grateful to the 2Roads Foundation team for their generosity and vision. The Pathfinder Hub will open new doors for our youth and community members, providing tools and opportunities that can transform lives. This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration and the impact we can achieve together.”

The event included a guided history tour of Ponte City and Dlala Nje, a screening of the 2Roads Foundation’s impact video, and the official opening of the Pathfinder Hub, followed by a light lunch at the Dlala Nje restaurant.

The 2Roads Foundation remains committed to its mission of driving meaningful change through entrepreneurship, education, arts and sports, and looks forward to further collaborations that inspire and empower communities.

Tax revenue: Tax Revenue has increased from R100 billion in 1994 to R1,4 trillion in 2016 in South Africa. Not only does this indicate the efficiency of tax collection, but also a broadening tax base in South Africa. Essentially this means that an accessible target market for start-ups has increased and should continue to increase.
