Ramaphosa to address South Africa’s migration crisis as Ntshavheni rules out shutdown | SA News

Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has warned that there will be no “shutdown” as anti-illegal immigration protests continue ahead of the June 30 deadline for undocumented foreign nationals to leave the country.

Ntshavheni said President Cyril Ramaphosa will soon address the nation to outline the government’s new plan for managing the migration crisis. 

However, she did not disclose when the address would take place.

She made the remarks during a post-Cabinet briefing on Friday.
