Restoring your HUAWEI CPE to its factory settings | SA News

  • A factory reset will clear the configuration parameters of the CPE. In this case, you will need to reconfigure the CPE.
  • The UI is subject to the CPE model, app version, and configuration page version.

Method 1: Via hardware

Power on the CPE and press and hold the Reset button for at least 2 seconds. Release the button when all indicators turn off. Wait until all indicators turn on again, which indicates that the factory settings have been restored.

  1. Connect your phone or computer to your CPE’s Wi-Fi, or connect the device to the LAN port of the CPE using a cable. Enter
