The annual Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer presented by Isuzu Motors South Africa will be held on the Gqeberha beach front on Saturday, October 25.

Road Closures:

Certain roads will be closed for the safety of the more than 15 000 participants walking in support of those affected by cancer.

The road closure will apply exclusively to Marine Drive, extending from the Boardwalk Hobie Beach entrance (opposite Astron) to Admiralty Way.

No Avenues will be closed.

More than 50 marshals and 30 security officers will be stationed along the route and at the venue to ensure the safety of walkers and their parked vehicles.

Residents will be able to access and leave their properties under the guidance of marshals during the event.

Road closures will be in effect from 07:00 to 11:00.

George and East London:

There are no road closures in George and East London.
