Students continued to protest despite a high court interdict

A court interdict against protests at Rhodes University did not stop about 100 students from demonstrating outside a graduation ceremony on Friday morning.
Police used stun grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd.
Students are protesting against the university’s new fee payment protocol, which would require many students to pay all their debt before registering for the next year.
