Snowfall possible in South Africa and Lesotho from this weekend | SA News

This forecast covers: Sat 11 Jul – Mon 13 Jul

More snowfall is possible in South Africa and Lesotho on Saturday, Sunday and Monday as per the map.

In the Eastern Cape light snow is currently indicated at higher elevations around Barkly East and Lady Grey, as well as near Matatiele (on the route to Qacha’s Nek in Lesotho. Light snow is also indicated for the high-ground between Katberg and Tarkastad.

In the Free State light snowfall is possible at higher elevations around Ladybrand, as well as around Golden Gate National Park.

Snowfall is possible on the slopes of the Drakensburg and Maluti mountains in KwaZulu-Natal, including on Sani Pass. Very…
